Absolutely amazing sea kayaking trip along the Purbeck Coast! Booked with Skyhook and run by Land and Wave. Huge shoutout to our four fantastic guides (Matt, Andy, Alex, and Harvey). They were great fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and really supported everyone. They made the paddling techniques easy to learn, even for the total beginners in our group and kept things safe and supportive without stripping away the sense of adventure. Every daily spot they picked for us was absolutely beautiful, tailored to the weather and how everyone was feeling. The glamping site is stunning too, with gorgeous views of Corfe Castle, a quick walk into the village, and a really thoughtfully organised setup. The food was so good and plentiful that we actually skipped dinner a couple of nights. Look after this fantastic team of leaders! They made the trip an absolute joy and an unforgettable experience.

I recently embarked on the 3 day kayak around the Jurassic Coast and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was a first solo adventure travel for me and the all the guys at Land and Wave were amazing! A special shout out to Mel, Ben, Phil, Tobias and Matt. They were not only good guides and always made you feel safe on the water, but they were also welcoming, fun and good teachers. Mel and Tobias were really good with giving tips on how to improve my kayaking techniques and by the end of trip I felt so confident with my new found love and skill for kayaking. So thank you guys! The breakfasts which were provided every morning were one of the highlights, outstanding food and such generous portions. The coastline was stunning and was a great mix of scenery and coastlines. Really would highly recommend and I have already started thinking of booking another trip.

I was lucky enough to attend a Coasteering day with the lead instructor Monty for the morning and Matt for the afternoon session. The whole day kicked off with an overall safety and familiarisation briefing that clearly outlined the day ahead and what we were to expect and what was expected of us. We were transferred from the meeting point to a location nearer the start point by minibus and then kitted out with wetsuit, buoyancy aid and a helmet. Another overview and more detail was given and we then made our way to Dancing Ledge, the start point. Monty lead us through the morning session and gave clear explanations at each point, checking each person was happy to continue as we progressed from shallow water entries to deep water entries with the entry points gaining height each time, culminating in a pretty long drop into the salty water off the Jurassic coast. The day ran really smoothly and was well organised with information given and checks on everyone at all times. A short break for lunch was a welcome time to take on some fresh water and grab some food before tackling a similar route but with some new additions and variations for the afternoon session. Matt again did a great job of covering off the basics and ensuring everyone was within their comfort zone. Overall I can’t recommend L&W more with the level of instructors and their focus on the team it was a great day and a fabulous experience from start to finish. I’m enjoying a nice cold beer now to celebrate a successful mission. Well done guys. T

Just wanted to share our amazing experience today coasteering with Sean and Alex. There were 11 children and they had the best time. Sean and Alex were fantastic with the group. Everyone had so much fun, lots of laughter and happy screams in the water! Everyone joined in, would highly recommend! Thank you so much. Debbie

An epic half day of powerboat coasteering for a mates stag! L&W provided a great team of instructors and rib drivers enabling our group to scramble up rocks and ride the waves in what were pretty tasty conditions! Speaking on behalf of the group, we would all highly recommend. L&W were also flexible and accommodating to changing group sizes in the run up. Thanks.
