Great little nature oasis, car park by the river. Stroll along to the cafe up and accessible roadway. Blue badge holders can park at the cafe. Plenty of bird hides to view the lakes from. Excellent spot

I will start the review by stating that we didn’t actually go into the nature reserve as it says dogs aren’t allowed but AI seemed to think differently when planning our trip and dog stops. It looks like they might be allowed in the fields over the road from Langford Lakes which I think is part of Wylye Down Nature Reserve but this was pretty water logged when we went so didn’t try our luck that way either. From the pictures I’ve see online it looks like a nice place to walk but just be mindful that dogs aren’t allowed on the Langford Lake nature reserve

It was nice being there, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere and the chirping sound of birds was so good.

Such a lovely place to have a little walk and explore with family. Cafe was lovely staff were lovely. Children loved it. Bird watching areas. Lots of places to stop and take in the view and listen to nature.

Really lovely walk by the lakes, no access to walk all the way around so you will be back tracking, which is a bit dissapointing. Not for dog walkers! But perfect for bird watchers! Take a good camera with a great zoom. Recommended visit, plenty of free parking.
