Langley Park Country Park feels like a proper hidden slice of royal landscape, with that magnificent lake and the dramatic Temple of Bacchus rising above the trees 🏛️🌲 The woodland trails are dreamy in autumn, and you can easily spend a few hours wandering without bumping into crowds 🍂🚶‍♂️ It’s got a real cinematic feel to it — very peaceful, very grand, and perfect for a weekend escape from the city 🎬🌿 Just pack a picnic and enjoy the views across the water 🧺💚

I’ve been to Langley Park many times over the years — even during my lunch breaks throughout the pandemic — and every visit feels special in a different way. This was the perfect time to return, with the rhododendrons in full bloom. Absolutely breathtaking. The park is filled with magnificent trees, many carefully labelled so you can learn about each species as you wander around. There’s a lovely café serving hot and cold food, coffees, ice creams and more ; I enjoyed a delicious ice cream while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The Temple Garden is especially peaceful, and on a clear day you can even see Windsor Castle in the distance. With a large car park, children’s playground, scenic walking trails, toilets near the café, and stunning colours throughout April, May and June, it’s such a wonderful place to relax, explore and reconnect with nature. Parking is around £4 for 3 hours and well worth it. An awesome, beautiful place for all ages.

May have been a cold frosty afternoon but a beautiful walk. Langley park has a lot to offer, a lovely open park, definitely a place for outdoor games or taking a bike out. We walked towards the lake, I was interested to see if the lake was frozen, part of it was but my photos don't do justice. A Beautiful park, very scenic and lots of photo opportunities.
