Cheery-Hi! We took our 6 and 4 year old girls, a great age where they understood everything and had fun. Lovely decorations and good use of blending into the woods / forest. Lovely ice rink. Downsides: pricey for what it is and the storytelling time is a bit too long. A lot of kids started to get agitated given their short attention span. Highlights: Meeting the reindeers and Father Christmas was quite magical. A personalised Father Christmas experience is quite special. Cheery-bye!

A brilliant experience for younger children. My 5 year old loved interacting with the elves and doing the activities. Food and drink was quite expensive although tasty. Despite being busy it didn't feel crowded, the elves were really enthusiastic and really made the whole experience enjoyable. Lots of great spots to take pictures and make memories.

Had very high expectations given how much hype we had heard and it really didn't disappoint! We did upgrade to the golden experience and it was hugely worth it. The comms leading up to the even could definitely be improved and in theory golden ticket is supposed to have preferential parking but there wasn't and the query beforehand by email just went unanswered. A few days for a response in this day and age would is probably a little too long for an event such as this. That aside - what an absolutely magnificent evening. Every last thing was wonderful and the kids found it truly magical. Tia, our golden guide, is the most wonderful human and made the experience for the kids. What a huge credit to the cast she is, nothing was too much trouble and she engaged so amazingly with our 2 kids. Without her it just would not have been the same and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you everyone for the vision and incredible execution. A truly memorable experience more than we couldn't have wished for and just the ticket for all to really believe. It is well publicised that Lapland UK is amazing. Having never been and having seen the TV documentary last year, we booked to take our girls (6 & 4) as they are at the perfect age. We had a 9:30 slot and arrived to plenty of parking and limited crowds. This was not the case when we left at 2pm when spaces were hard to find and the place was rammed! On arrival, we spent a little time in 'departures' for some photos and to hype up the excitement. At our alloted time we collected our passports and jingles and had the first of the 'drama' elements of the day. The children enjoyed this bit but it did go on for quite some time. As a group is always ahead of you and behind you, the activities had to be drawn out. The main event of heading through the magical door to Lapland was the best part for me and was made magical by the characters, lighting and special effects. Once inside, the place was packed with exceptionally happy and polite elves all looking amazing and constantly doing their special hello and goodbye greetings. Truth be told, I can't imagine how they keep that level of niceness and festivity up! It must be very hard work. As the day went on, we made toys for Father Christmas, decorated ginger bread biscuits and wrote letters to the big man himself. Ice skating, a library and shops all greeted us in the Elven Village. As you would expect, everything is aimed at money generation and the children were desperate for everything. We managed to convince them to get a few choice items as keep sakes. Finally, we met Father Christmas and he amazed the children by knowing lots about them. They really loved this moment and treasure the gifts he gave them. The only complaint about this part of the day was when heading to his cabin, you cross paths with families who had already been and see what they have. I'm sure our girls didn't really notice but it does take away a little bit of the magic. A different exit path would have made more sense. A final little niggle was the final shop which was packed with goodies that the new toy from Father Christmas might need. By this point the girls had spent their Jingles and as such this would all be extra cash, as would the extra photos and digital files. I know this is the way of the world now, but I did find the constant drive for money and profit did take away from the experience a little for me. All said and done, this will be a memory and experience that our girls treasure for many years and hopefully longer. The magic of Christmas came to life for them and I guess you can't put a price on that ... Well you can, and it's a sizable wedge! But, as a once in a lifetime event, it was worth it. @familydadventures

After visiting today I had to leave a review after how impressed we all was with the day. Took my 3 children 11,8,7 my older 2 both have additional needs and managed well. I was so impressed with all of it my 11 year old was even blown away. Me and my husband thought Santa was amazing took so much time with them it felt like such a magical experience. Impressed with the gifts and also the fact you get another to give them on Christmas Day. We have done so many Christmas Events and nothing beats Lapland uk.
