Stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed it. The price was reasonable, the surroundings were peaceful, and there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby to keep you busy. A great base if you enjoy spending time outdoors.

What a great family reunion we had at Lea Green. The staff were welcoming, relaxed and very helpful. The space was perfect for games, crafts and cooking. We are outside as the weather was good. Only the mattresses could have been comfier but no complaints. It was a beautiful and memorable weekend. Thank you Jenny and Ben for all your help!!!

I went to Lea Green on a school residential this week and it was absolutely lovely. We got back today, and it’s amazing how many activities were packed into the three days we stayed. The staff were all lovely and very polite and helpful. We stayed in the main building and the beds were very comfy. The tuck shop was also nice. Compliments to the chef, Louise, as the food was delicious every day. Mark took us caving, and was very knowledgeable about the different things inside the mine we explored. And a very special mention to Darryl/Daz. He was welcoming to my school from the moment we arrived, and was very kind and encouraging towards both the students and the staff in our group. He’s very smart and thoughtful, and helped us all a lot, the trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. Some highlights include caving with Mark, canoeing with Daz, the games room, the soft play area and the climbing wall. Overall a splendid and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much Lea Green! ❤️

Stayed here in April 2024 with a school trip very friendly staff. Very nice rooms normal toilets which are unusual for youth hostels takes safety seriously with a fire drill a few hours in. Activities were very good. Would definitely reccomend

It has been my absolute pleasure to be able to bring my own children along to Lea Green and also to support several groups of children through the HAF project now. And I can honestly say that every time we come to Lea Green we leave with the biggest smiles on all of our faces and with children asking if they can come back tomorrow or when can they come again because they love it so much and get so much from everything that Mark, Gaz, Darryl, Vicky and the rest of this fantastic team provide. From obstacle courses, low ropes, buggies, high ropes, river walks, slip and slide, zip lines, climbing wall experiences, cave activities and team games (to list but a few) the staff at Lea Green work tirelessly in engaging all the children who attend on every level and leading sessions full of enrichment and fun activities. Whenever, I am organising a group trip, I never have any difficulty filling the places and always have a waiting list. I've watched children walk away from a day at Lea Green standing 10 feet taller than they arrived because they have achieved or overcome an activity they were unsure of with the support of Lea Green staff. The work they do is on another level and we are so very lucky to be able to access such an inclusive and valuable resource.
