The tower was shut. And the available food is cheap but expensive. Lovely paths up to the top. Bluebells out, sheep, woods. Very nice long 10k stroll up and a longer painful 10k walk back to the pub😂

Lovely walk. The car park to the west of the hill has an easy gradient to reach the tower. Weekends are busy. Remember this is Surrey so you might witness some uncouth behaviour which could spoil your walking experience. Bring some paper with you as there is no toilet facilities and be careful if you walk off piste.

Nice to cycle, walk or drive to. Lovely walk through the woods. Great views from the top. Small coffee and pastries kiosk in the Tower basement. Nearby Leith Hill Place and rhododendrons park also worth a visit

There's a choice of car parks , smallish ones, depending how physically able you are to climb through the woods to summit and tower. Tower is only open at weekends and BH's. Views are brilliant from summit and even better from top of Tower. I went in brilliant sunshine. Small cafe hatch , seating is benches outside. No toilets.

Leith Hill is wonderful location for a short to medium length hike. As a natural trust location it’s really well maintained and kept clean. The hill itself provides great views across the downs and plenty of footpaths and mountain bike trails. Great for an afternoon amble. For those wanting to take it to the next level, you can also pay to go up the tower. Worth a visit 👍
