Beautiful country park with ample reasonably priced parking, a lovely cafe with lakeside views. Various waterspout activities too.. Great for a leisurely stroll on the well maintained but stony paths. Recommended!

Leybourne Lakes Country Park is a true gem for anyone looking to spend quality time outdoors with their furry friend. The park features a wonderful variety of walking paths that wind around the water, offering everything from breezy lakeside strolls to more secluded, wooded trails. It’s the perfect spot to let your dog explore new scents while you take in the serene views and local wildlife. The experience is made even better by the welcoming atmosphere at the cafe. It’s incredibly dog-friendly, offering special treats like doggy ice cream and biscuits so your pup can refuel right alongside you. For a bit of extra fun, you can pick up a bag of official duck and swan feed at the counter, making it a peaceful and interactive escape for the whole family. The park is exceptionally well-equipped with a large parking area, toilet facilities, and even a dedicated doggy wash station to clean up muddy paws before the drive home.

Leybourne Lakes Country Park is a lovely place for a relaxing day outdoors. The lakes and surrounding scenery are beautiful, making it great for walking and enjoying nature. There are well-maintained paths, plenty of open space, and a calm atmosphere. There’s a café on site, a large playground nearby for children, and lots of benches around the main lake where you can sit and take in the views. It’s a great spot for families, and the area is generally clean and well looked after.

Beautiful, peaceful spot with amazing lakes — perfect for a reset, walk or just chilling. Great mix of nature and activity (walking, dogs, even watersports), so it never feels boring. Big plus: scenery and space. (parking cashless system is annoying ) Pretty much good coffee, friendly staff 👉 Worth visiting 100% — just bring your own food and enjoy the vibe 😉

Our first time here with our dog Indie. First stop the cafe for a quick snack and coffee. The ladies serving were lovely, very polite and helpful, so thank you for that. We took a walk round the lake and saw that there were lots of benches to sit and take in the view. It was such a lovely sunny November afternoon. It’s a good place for dog walking, and the cafe is dog friendly too which was helpful. A good place for walking, or for children to ride their bikes. Lots of people said hello, which was nice and we struck up a lovely conversation with another dog owner that lived nearby. A very nice way to spend a sunny afternoon and I would go back again. I think it could do with more for children to do around the lake like little obstacle courses or similar. 30 Dec 2025-back again for a walk in the sunshine. Friendly people on the way round the lake.
