We went to Leyton Jubilee Park to see The Revel Puck Circus and it was one of the best things we’ve done in East London with the kids. The Big Top is such a fun surprise to find in the park, and the whole setup feels welcoming and relaxed. The show, A Glimmer Daze Gambit, is joyful, funny and genuinely jaw dropping, the performers are unbelievably talented and the storytelling keeps everyone hooked. I’m a mum of two young boys with SEND and they absolutely loved it, which isn’t always the case with live events. We came out smiling and buzzing. If Revel Puck return to Leyton Jubilee Park, book it.

On the map the park looks quite small compared to the large green areas of Hackney Marshes across the River Lea, and it may be overlooked as it is not on the River Lea footpath. However it is a pleasant and varied park to walk around in, with extensive sports facilities to the south (including beach volleyball), a common land area across Dagenham Brook in the middle, and open parkland to the north. There is an outdoor gym on the north side too, and an impressive wooden model ship.
