Unfortunately it was raining the day we went here. (Best to have an umbrella in your car and a jacket) However, it was a good day even with the rain. There were various live displays in the morning with the reptiles and in the afternoon with the birds. We were only there for the afternoon displays which includes a Tawney Eagle, Kookaburra and an Owl. The Ladies presenting were very informative and interesting. There was plenty of opportunities to look at all the birds and reptile, etc. It was lovely to see a play area for children and other areas of interaction for them. Toilets were available. There was a café offering snacks, hot sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and a variety of cakes. On leaving there was a lovely little shop, mostly aimed at the children in order to remember their great day. The important information is that this is a conservation and breading programme. They rely on donations and entrance fees to keep them going.

What a fantastic day out! The site is well arranged for seeing all of the animals they are caring for. The daily talks are fantastic, we caught the reptile talk before lunch and all three flying shows and they were great. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. We can't wait to come back again soon.

What a treat this facility is! I arrived just in time to see a flying demonstration and it was such an experience. Excellent handler who was a wealth of knowledge, great sense of humor, and even brought the Golden Eagle close enough for guests to get a closer look and picture. Wonderful facility with an eclectic variety of feathered friends. Highly recommended.

We decided to go midweek in the afternoon, nice and quiet and the shows were great - staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. There was more to see than we expected! The cafe has a nice selection of snacks, toasties, cakes and decent coffee. Really helpful that they had a highchair and bottle warmer we could borrow too, again the staff were friendly and helpful! Looks like a fairly new play area they've added too. We spent 3 hours and caught the two afternoon shows. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area 🙂

We had the most amazing morning here, my dad and partner did the falconry experience with Charlie, which they absolutely loved. An hour and a half of getting up close to some beautiful birds, and I was able to sit and watch them and take some pictures. Charlie was super informative and friendly. Definitely worth a visit just to see all the different birds and reptiles! Thank you for a great morning!
