Wonderful time even for a solo adult. Current dinosaur event is fantastic, and the planetarium shows are well worth a watch. Didn't take part in many of the interactive exhibits, not wanting to take away opportunities for families to use them, but they all looked really fascinating.

I had a wonderful visit to Life Science Centre. The dinosaur exhibition was absolutely fantastic and very engaging for children. The staff in general were friendly and supportive, especially with kids. A special mention to KAI BAMFORD, who was part of both the Life Science Show and the Planetarium Show. Kai Bamford was extremely kind, patient, and very interactive with the children, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hands-on science area was fun and well-organised, and despite the number of visitors that day, the waiting time was surprisingly short. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely visit again.

Came with my son on Tuesday, and I have to say it was fantastic. The Dino experience was great, as we are very enthusiastic about dinosaurs. Everything else in there is amazing as well so we're worth a visit. Would highly recommend a visit for every age.

After a long journey to Newcastle it was nice the Centre had toilets to the left and a cafe to the right of the reception by the entrance. Toilets were immaculate and there were lockers which you can rent in the hallway next to the bathrooms. The cafe was clean and had friendly staff plus the menu was decent and nicely presented and priced. The Life centre was huge and fun with plenty of interactive displays, one member of the group described the place like a giant sensory room. We completed the centre in around 45 minutes and that's about it after a two hour drive so although it was a great experience it felt short. Definitely worth a visit but doubt we would return unless it has new attractions in the future. Lockers were £5 (handy for backpacks and jackets) but when key handed back you get £4 back.

Life Science Centre is more than just a visit; it's an ongoing adventure. The activities are so engaging and diverse that my kids find something new to love every single time. Top Tip: Get the Annual Pass! It’s the best investment for families. It gives you the freedom to visit as often as you like, ensuring you never miss their amazing seasonal themes and rotating exhibitions. A must-visit for every curious mind! I was happy today to see new stuff and showw
