Amazing cathedral and we have visited a lot in England and Europe but this was special. The scale is impressive but so is the art work and history, layers integrated with England general history. We did the group floor tour (with Alan) which is complimentary with the ticket entry. It was well worth taking the time, informative and personal. I wish we’d had more time in Lincoln to come back to absorb another layer, so much to take in. We came back for the choral service, it was also very welcoming irrespective of spiritual beliefs, just sharing their community and practices. Well done team !

Absolutely stunning. Steeped in history. Interesting and emotive. Great gift shop and cafe too! A beautiful setting and a great walk up to the cathedral with some unique shops and refreshments along the way. Well worth a visit.

My first visit to Lincoln Cathedral to watch the peregrine falcons was simply breathtaking. The architecture is mind blowing. The atmosphere is tranquil and the grounds are beautiful with patches of wildflowers. The only down point was the bins were overflowing but other than that it was spectacular. There is also numerous birds living around the cathedral, along with the peregrine falcons who have made their home their. I am looking forward to making a return visit to fully explore inside Lincoln Cathedral.

We had an absolutely incredible visit! The cathedral is amazing and so worth visiting. Make sure you get the floor tour (it is part of the entry ticket), and if your guide is Jo—consider yourself lucky! Jo shared so much knowledge and information with us. A special thank you to Jo for telling me the story about Katherine! You inspired me to read and learn more about this fascinating ancestor of English Kings and Queens. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and thank you for doing such a brilliant job even with the rehearsal happening 😅. Jo truly made our day and made our visit to Lincoln Cathedral so special. I definitely want to come back for a roof tour and to do the rest of the tours 😊

Well worth a visit. Brought my ticket which is valid for a year. Payed extra for the rooftop tour which was brilliant, getting to see parts you wouldn't normally have access to. The guides are all very knowledgeable.
