Good day out, we walked around the zoo multiple times to fill the day. But importantly for a zoo all the animals look happy and healthy. Some good keeper talks aswell. Cafe food well priced and tasted good.

It was ok here. There was no clear flow when walking around and it was a bit thin on the ground for animal spotting but would be a nice place for young families and there were plenty of places to sit, the toilets were clean and tidy. I think it's a sweet place for young children to visit. The penguins were mega!

Beautiful little zoo. Visited with family on Good Friday and had a wonderful, relaxed day amongst the animals. The zoo itself feels established, but many areas feel brand new (or they have a fantastic maintenance team). The enclosures are big and the animals are easy to see up close - I love that a lot of the enclosures avoid chain fence. They have a few indoor areas - tropical birds, plants and butterflies (which were in their cocoons when we visited). The walkways are wide and flat, and there are essentially no stairs anywhere. There is a nice cafe - with attached sand play area to keep the kids happy. Overall we loved our visit and I’d definitely recommend this zoo if you are in the Lincoln area. I prefer it to Twycross, which feels over commercialised.

This is one of the best zoo’s we have visited, we have been here three times now and have managed to see all the animals every time. They have different shows throughout the day, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. You are able to get up close and walk through some of the areas with the animals. Our favourite was the Endeavour building with butterfly’s flying around you. We toke a picnic with us as there’s plenty of seating areas to eat. Plenty of parking and easy to find, great day out.
