Having lived in Lincolnshire for over 30 years I'm ashamed to say that this was my first visit to LWR. What an excellent attraction and ran completely by volunteers (and what friendly & enthusiastic volunteers they are). Their aim is to extend this line to Louth, they've already purchased the track bed but now need funding to lay the track. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have now joined LWR to show our support.

Just experience the afternoon tea special. Very nice indeed. Really lovely volunteers working here. Was lovely to see happy people in there job. Only one miserable bugger but then you always get the one don't you. Also the museum and shop was nice and cosy. Plenty of parking over the road and another small shop here too selling second hand bric a brac. Will definitely be returning.

Great little railway,you travel just over a mile and trains run fairly regularly,they have plans to extend the line so look forward to my next visit.

Took my Grandson on the steam train to meet Santa’s elves and write a letter to Santa. It was such a lovely little train ride and my grandson really enjoyed every minute of it. The staff and elves made it feel very magical and festive. They often hold different events at Ludborough Station throughout the year, so it’s definitely worth checking their website to see what’s coming up and to find out more information. A lovely experience for families and children ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A fantastic little heritage railway that offers a smooth ride between 2 stations behind a steam train. There is a cafe, small gift shop and a museum with all proceeds going towards extending the line to Louth. Dog friendly and staff are happy to share their knowledge on the project and the trains. There is an engine shed with a few more trains. Check the website for running days as well as themes like cream teas or fish and chips. Tickets can be bought on the day. Plenty of parking and brown signed off the A16
