I go to Little World of scholars atleast twice a month with the children I nanny for. The staff are friendly, the play equipment is great for imaginary play and they offer a discounted rate for nannies plus a free hot drink of your choice Definitely worthy of a 5 star review.

Lovely place!!! Loads of variety of toys for the little ones. My son absolutely loved the construction section. Lovely coffee and cakes.

I took my daughter to Little World of Scholars today and we had a lovely time. We met the owner of the play centre and she was a lovely lady, very friendly, kind and generous - we were even able to stay a little later and play as she was cleaning up. She didn’t rush us off as she could see that the small group were still eating. My daughter had a lot of fun playing with her friend and the time flew by! We have been on past occasions and normally it’s very busy, which is fine and expected, but today it was quieter and myself and my friend commented on how relaxing we found the experience. Sometimes it’s lovely not to have too many screaming children around! 😁 It’s a great little place in the centre of Altrincham, well stocked with clean play equipment, light bites to eat and even a little shop where you can buy dressing up items and toys. I’m sure we will be back again in the future.

We visited on a Sunday morning with our 13 month old and felt disappointed. The place was overcrowded with little space for pushchairs and shoes. The tables were all occupied already with people's stuff therefore we couldn't use one. The play area itself was overcrowded with older children and parents. It was particularly annoying that some parents chose to sit inside the plane thing and have a chat for 10/15 minutes therefore limiting it's use by kids. The older kids dress up clothes were everywhere. The farm area had one stuffed pig. The shop had taped up cardboard boxes not the plastic bottles etc shown in the promo photos, this is fine for older kids however for younger toddlers there's very little to play with. It'd be fine if it marketed itself at 2+ years but most things where too tall for our 13 month old. The biggest issue for this place is the capacity. The website claims spaces are limited for quality of play, however this didn't seem the case. The quantity of parents just occupying play floor space, but also occupying a table with their stuff left little for anyone else. We left after being there 25 minutes.

We hosted our sons 3rd birthday party this weekend, it was the best decision of doing so I was very impressed with all the staff helping I just had to say and they executed the task better than i would ever have. They were on toes from attending and telling me about my guest to arranging the food area and managing my guest drinks . There wasn’t a single time we felt lost they helped us in every possible aspect . Also the play area is brilliantly planned has so many vehicles and very clean and tidy . I wish I had booked it for a 2 hour time slot instead of of 90 mins
