Absolutely excellent day out on a self drive narrow boat from Llangollen Wharf. Neal & the team were extremely helpful, friendly & always at the end of the phone if needed. Safety briefing, map & instructions given were clear & made us feel confident to drive the boat ourselves. The boat was clean & had everything you wanted for a wonderful day out to the aqueduct & back. Definitely recommend for a fun family day at your own pace.

We had a wonderful 2-hour trip along the Llangollen Canal today aboard the *Thomas Telford*. The journey was beautifully scenic, with peaceful countryside views and the highlight of crossing the impressive Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which is an experience in itself. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip both relaxing and informative. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy to sit back and enjoy the surroundings. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience—highly recommended if you’re visiting the area.

Great day out - enjoyed some food at the tea room and a great trip along the canal in the horse drawn boat with Hercules the horse and his helpers. Very relaxing trip, a lovely way to see the countryside. Also very reasonably priced for the boat trip. Everyone working there is very friendly.

Lovely trip. Great staff who coped with the ridiculous behaviour of some tow path users so well - well done. Really enjoyable couple of hours. The horses were gorgeous! We didn’t feel there was time to get to the falls. Another time we would have just had a drink in the bar of the hotel. Highly recommend.
