It is one of my most fave places on earth. The beach is lovely. Theres a pub, chippy, cafe, public 🚻 and if theres the bonus of a bit of sunshine, you're all set for a great beach day. I love the place in all weather's.
Tiny road runs down to this tiny village (?!). There’s a FREE car park and a 2 electric car charging station- slow! The village is further down with really nice locals. The car park down the village was full with motor homes. Car park is pre- payed system . It was on my bucket list, but to be honest I was pretty disappointed about this place! I wouldn’t visit there again. Sorry 🤷🏻♂️
so good, recommend the walk up the coast to the peninsula, some of the best coast path views we've experienced. Beach is idyllic with super ice cream cafe and beers at the pub, just watch that dodgy parking with £100 cameras, free parking is a lovely stroll just up the hill
Stunning little beach in a quiet village. Mostly sand but some pebbles of all sizes, two little streams going on to the beach, caves in the rocks either side. There is a pay and display car park right by the beach and I imagine this is popular in the summer. There seemed to be several cafes and restaurants, I also saw a sign for Mickey’s kayak hire. There’s a sign that says water quality (tested in spring/summer months) is excellent which is reassuring. A really lovely place to visit!
Enjoyed this smallish beach, plenty of eateries and facilities for a family visit. Lots of benches if you need them and easy access to the water. We avoided the main car park here as it's notorious for fining people. Use the park and ride instead if you can.
