Liswerry Pond (Quarry) is an amazing looking place, with features such as benches and fishing spots it makes for a lovely day out with numerous possible activities. It's local habitat is very friendly which makes for a warming visit.

A very green space in suburban Newport, surprisingly small amount of litter and looks well maintained. Big fields nearby to walk around and a football pitch. Pond has a decent amount of wildlife and lots of people fishing around it. Shame you can't walk all the way around, but if you live in the area it's a welcome slice of countryside.

Stunning scenery and if you love a bit of fishing like my you will be in heaven. The guys here work hard to keep the place family friendly and the pond pristine. I’m a disabled & neurodiverse angler and Ive been made to feel welcome by the team and all the other guys fishing.
