Large car park and a few mostly well marked trails around the lake. Only £4 for four hours parking, for me that was long enough for walking the full loop and a coffee at the end. It's not much more expensive to park for the day. Couple of toilets, activity centre and cafe. Didn't try the food but the coffee wasn't the greatest. Maybe I just went on an off day. The cafe is a nice, airy, bright area though with views over the lake . The Osprey viewing area hadn't opened when I arrived but did manage to spot one overhead. Great kids play area too. Think there's various boats etc which can be hired but nobody was brave enough for that when I was there!

The facilities here are absolutely top quality, and the outdoor activities staff were absolutely fantastic. Mark and his team were extremely welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about everything we needed to know before getting onto the water. The paddling area is little small for a veteran paddler like myself, but we'll definitely be returning with my grandson later this summer. Update: just been for a second visit with our grandson and the staff member, Liam, was absolutely fantastic. He was super helpful and made Charlie feel so welcomed. Thank you kindly Liam.

Beautiful setting, with lots of beautiful birds on the feeders. Great cafe and facilities on one side of the lake, including boat and bike hire, as well as sufficient parking. The parking meter doesn't give a receipt, so just be aware. Lovely walk around the lake but no facilities aside from some seats on the far side, so plan ahead. Maybe a small toilet block and extra waste bins for dog waste would be beneficial on the far side, especially for the elderly or infirm. Well worth a visit.

This is the second time I hired a bike and the staff at the centre are so helpful! It’s easy to book online and the process is so simple. Did a beautiful ride round the lake and hiring is so much easier that transporting a bike! £16 for 3 hours is so worth it and you are given all the information you need! Will definitely be doing again!
