Great to walk around an historical palace. You can climb up very narrow stairs and then go down into the dark rooms. Unfortunately the weather conditions were bad so we did get wet. There is shelter if it does rain. It's free to get in if you're a English Heritage member, if not you have to pay.

Definitely worth visiting if you like medieval architecture. Very well preserved and dog friendly place.

Visited last weekend for the first time and really enjoyed a good hour or so inside. It's a really impressive building with lovely grounds and fun to explore. You can go up a tight winding stone staircase and get amazing views from high up. There are picnic benches which we will use the next time we visit. There is a fee to enter but I think it's well worth it and it's good to know it goes towards keeping it maintained.

We had the pleasure to go here today to see the palace and cathedral both of which was definitely worth a vist. Cadw membership got us in for free at the Bishops palace and a stunning building so worth a vist. Well presented with bit of information around the site. The cathedral was again full of information and extremely well presented definitely worth the walk up the hill.

Highly recommended historical landmark. £6.80 entry is well worth it given the condition and the audio available. Most rooms have a button you can press for information in either Welsh or English. The gardens are nice, there are clean toilets and staff are friendly. Best view of St David’s Cathedral too.
