Locke Park is beautifully maintained to a high standard which makes the park lovely to walk around. The playground is updated regularly and has multiple climbing options with different areas suitable for toddlers and older children. There is also a well equipped outdoor gym, tennis and football court. The cafe serves delicious food and drinks. There are also free to use toilet facilities to the side of the cafe. The bandstand and other buildings & statues within the grounds are stunning, I enjoy reading the information points dotted around the park. The car park is not large considering the size of the park however you can also park considerately in the surrounding area as there are multiple on foot entrance points. We love Locke Park

A lovely park to walk around with fab wall art and we had fun on the gym equipment too. Didn't visit the cafe on this occasion but it looked nice!

We love this park, the grounds are just beautiful, ample parking and the play area has something for everybody. The cafe is an added bonus, their home made chips are just beautiful!

Good park, well taken care of, clean and lovely. Walks around the park are relevantly short. There’s plenty to do in the park from exercise; to a playground and cafe. A really lovely place to come on a sunny weekend.

No idea why google decided to delete my review but will try again. This is as good a park as there is, excellent play area for children and loads of space to dash round in. A really nice café with a good selection of foods etc that's worth a visit. I believe the toilet facilities should be larger but I doubt that happening so the existing ones are it. Lovely place to stroll around but I am definitely not happy with dog lovers who don't bother to clean their pet's offerings, truly ridiculous and dangerous to children, not to mention shoes. Well worth a visit.
