A really fascinating place. Had no idea of how the ice trade shaped the canals! A very enjoyable visit with a gift shop! Can also have a walk along the canal as well! Card and cash is accepted along with being disabled friendly. Concession is are also available

What a lovely museum this is, located just a short walk away from King's Cross Railway Station. It is just the right size so information can be taken in and retained. There is a lovely outside area called Battlebridge Basin where you can see the docked canal boats. Highly recommended! ☆☆☆☆☆

Lovely little museum tucked away behind King's Cross Station. A vast array of displays and very interesting information about canal boats, barges, the transport of goods, the life on board, the horses, the ice houses, the building and maintenance of the vast canal shipping network across London& Uk and its importance throughout the ages. All clearly displayed ,lots of interactive & hands-on set ups, informative videos. A real gem which keeps children and grown ups entranced for hours

The museum is small but it offers abundant details and explanations of the history of the Regent’s Canal. You can also buy some well-designed souvenirs in their shop. If you have spare time, Taking a stroll along the canal will also be a good option.😏

The museum is very interesting, showing life not so long ago along the canals. The staff were lovely and well informed. The building was an ice warehouse back in the 19th century. Many captivating exhibitions focused on canal history have emerged over time.
