Absolutely fantastic day! Father’s Day outing with my pops. Second time here and will keep coming back for more. Today we saw the engines steaming up - what a treat! The beauty and majesty of our industrial past in the hands of some extremely talented and knowledgeable volunteers. Loved every second!! Please, please visit one and all. Places like this totally worth every penny of support!

I deliberately brought my nephew to visit on a day when the steam engines were working and it was amazing to see these magnificent steam driven pumps actually working! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we were totally enthralled by the huge working steam pumps. All the displays and the models were superbly informative and I'm absolutely sure that we actually read every piece of information lol!!! It is just such an amazing working museum!! The staff and volunteers were friendly, approachable and knowledgable!! A Brilliant place to see how our Water (both drinking and waste water) are supplied into our homes and communities. A thoroughly engaging and enjoyable museum to visit, with lots of activities for younger visitors too!!!

An interesting museum. Lots of history about the water supply in London over the centuries. Nice to see the machinery. Went on a week day and nothing was running. i think if the machines were running it would have been a 5 star experience but still interesting and worth a visit if you are in the area. lots of kids activities as well.

Check for train and steam days. Go early. Trains stop running in the afternoon depending on volunteer availability. Very family friendly place. Limited onsite parking.

Brilliant museum that has a bit of everything. Great exhibits with lots of fun things for kids to do both inside and outside. Staff very friendly. We visited on a steam up day so got to see the machines in action and see the engineers running them. We did the train ride and we were lucky that we also caught a model train exhibition in the back room. A hidden gem. Highly recommend!
