Had a wonderful visit to Longstone Lighthouse. Learning about Grace Darling’s story was inspiring, and seeing the puffins up close was absolutely entrancing. The boat ride was a bit bumpy, but it all added to the adventure. A brilliant experience overall.

Well worth the boat trip out with Golden Gate Farne Isles Boat Trips. £53 for two adults to get out here. Nice to see Inner Farnes on the way out and plenty of seabirds. £6 additionally to visit the lighthouse. Grace Darling's bedroom and tight stairs up there. Enjoyable morning activity.

Beautiful island with a lot of history. Home to many species of bird such as the puffin. Worth the boat trip out to see the natural beauty for yourself

Amazing place to visit. Not often you get to go in a lighthouse, we went in as part of the boat tour that goes over there. Was a unique place to visit and highly recommend going up the tower for some good views from the top, the island the lighthouse is built on also is home to a number of seals so got to see some of them which was very interesting!

Great trip out to the Farne Islands. It’s always on our list of things to do every time we visit Seahouses. Going on the Golden Gate is great as it’s the only boat which has rights to land at Longstone Lighthouse the scene of Grace Darlings rescue. Alongside the history is the wildlife. Plenty of seals and puffins make it for a memorable trip.
