Pleasant springtime walk around the pretty South lake spotting birds and spring flowers.

We had a leisurely walk around the lakes and a little look in the visitors centre ,which is really well set up, very friendly and helpful staff. Great place

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve is a real gem for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of wildlife throughout the year. The walking trails are easy to follow, taking you around a series of ponds and through woodlands and open spaces. There are plenty of benches along the way to stop and take in the views, and the information boards make it interesting for children and adults alike. It’s a great place for a gentle stroll, bird-watching, or a bit of quiet time in nature. The car park and facilities are well kept, and it never feels overcrowded, just calm, natural, and relaxing. A wonderful spot to reconnect with nature right on the edge of Longton. 🌿🦆🌸

Lovely nature reserve with plenty of seating. I was lucky enough to spot an osprey yesterday, as well as ducklings, young swans, dragonflies and other pond species. The sun was shining and the reserve's trees offered welcome shade.

Great place for a stroll with or without a dog. Free car parking. A visitor centre with toilets but the centre and toilets aren't open every day. Plenty of Ducks and Squirrels. At time of posting we haven't to feed ducks, birds etc due bird flu. Children will love it.
