Tried calling to see if I could just turn up and have a swim but no answer and put through to an answering machine. It’s a 20 min drive for me to get there and I don’t want to drive out there to be told I can’t swim due to whatever reason also the website only states that swimming is in the morning and till 1pm ?? Answer the phone

Lonsdale swimming pool is a great place to swim. It's quite, the staff are friendly the pool has not got things like flumes and wave machines which is great for my purpose. If you want a quite gentle swim without people worrying you with the added advantage of having gentle conversation should you want, this is the place to go. Don't go there for exciting slides and wave machines.

Excellent affordable pool. Warmest pool in derby! Good size and very deep at deep end. Love going for family splash sessions and there are plenty of floats and sinkers to keep the kids amused

Great progress made my child with the help of the expert and very patient teachers! Wouldn’t think twice before recommending this place for your child’s swimming lessons!! Place is quite popular and there can be a long waiting list indeed.
