This is a fantastic place to walk, bird watch, picnic and relax. There are dedicated areas where you can walk your dog off lead, and those which require your dog to remain on their lead. The paths are very well maintained and easy to follow. There are benches around the lakes too so you can rest and take in the scenery. My only bug bear is the amount of dog mess dotted around. If you take your dog please be responsible and pick it up! There are posts around the lakes for you to hang your dog poop bag on and collect it again when you go back that way. (Many people don't collect it as lots just hanging on the posts) or just pick it up and carry it with you around the lakes and deposit it in the bin at the car park.

A lovely reserve with different trails to walk. A fairly small but free car park (it was raining when we went to we were the only car). Dog friendly and areas are clearly marked whether it's an off lead or on lead part. The reserve shop wasn't open when we visited which was a shame.

Great picnic area, full of fawn and flora.dogs have a designated area to run off lead, plenty of walks on both sides of the road......free to enter......

Must visit place and recommend for all seasons. Recommend wellys as some parts are bit dirty. U can enjoy lush wetland views, and also some wildlife. Enterence free
