Great way to escape the parade for some nature and peace. If you venture up the hill, stick to the paths and be mindful of the sheer drops (don’t get too close to the edge!). Great views and plenty of space to go around, even on the busier days.

At Matlock Bath is this peaceful short walk along the bank of the river. Ample seating and picnic benches are available. It takes you to a quieter relaxing trail which is a contrast from the busy and noisier main road. I recommend you take advantage of this tranquil journey along the river.

Incredibly scenic and enjoyable walk, a whole host of activities available from boat rowing to the heights of Abraham. Many shops and cafe's providing refreshment and quality food. Would recommend for someone wanting to explore nature but not be overwhelmed by a challenging hike.

Came to Matlock Bath for a look around. The lovers walks start at the main carpark and are well worth the effort. The walk I did takes you up above Matlock Bath where you have beautiful views all around as well as down. There are some very steep steps so not suitable for those with less than full mobility.
