Visited in January so non hard surface parks tend to be a bit muddy. Some interesting sculptures and good views Easy parking.
First visit today and it has a great car park. The circular walk isn’t muddy even when damp and the sculptures are great to see! Can’t wait to come back when it’s drier - has the wrong footwear on today! Dogs absolutely loved it 🥰
A lovely walk, good for families, couples, singles or people with pets. Free parking , but limit spaces. Multiple trails to follow which is great if you'd like to push yourself on the steeper longer hills with various terrains. Could do with some better colour coordinated arrows along the trails; as it could be easy to take the wrong one. Would definitely go back.
As a wheelchair user the paths are brilliant. My hubby & I did the Wagonway trail ,the easy and disabled friendly at 1.12 km The fresh air and the views are amazing. We came on September 20th and autumn 🍂 is definitely coming. I didn't see any toilets on route. There are benches. I be definitely coming back when it is warmer but with a picnic. Belongs to the Woodland Trust.
Lovely area to walk around. We parked in the free car park just off South Road. We done the circular walk and enjoyed getting down to the river. There was some litter in this area, looks like folk go there to enjoy a few tinnies and leave the leftovers. It was also a shame to see graffiti regarding covid-19 plastered on benches and other parts but not everyone can be trusted not to deface such a little gem of an area. That aside really enjoyed our walk. The car park had easy access and a bin for dog waste, I would personally take human rubbish home as I did see someone put a MacD's bag in there filling the "dog" bin up 🤦♀️ can be steep in areas and can imagine it gets muddy but we picked a great day for a visit. Although plenty of cars still room to comfortably walk around and not feel crowded. I would come back here as on the whole it's a lovely little walk.
