Upper Quinton, United Kingdom•4.4(255)•Farm

Visit a working family farm with a traditional farm shop, butchery, and Farmhouse Kitchen Café serving fresh, locally-sourced food.

Lower Clopton Farm is a third-generation family-run business located at the base of Meon Hill, just 7 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon at the gateway to the Cotswolds. Set on 211 acres, the farm traditionally produces beef, lamb, and turkey using sustainable farming practices, including a mixed farming system with sheep, cattle, and arable crops that ensures excellent land rotation and reduces the need for antibiotics and artificial fertilizers. Visitors can explore the working farm and enjoy a range of food experiences. The on-site butchery sources all meat either from the farm itself or from local suppliers, with everything cut fresh from the carcass. The production kitchen creates a huge variety of products including cakes, tarts, pies, pork pies, soups, and ready meals. The Farmhouse Kitchen Café cooks everything to order using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, providing an authentic farm-to-table dining experience. The farm also offers Pick Your Own opportunities, where families can harvest their own cherries in summer and pumpkins in October, creating an interactive agricultural experience. With its commitment to quality, sustainability, and community connection, Lower Clopton Farm is ideal for families looking to understand where their food comes from and enjoy authentic farmhouse hospitality. The venue is Red Tractor registered and won Small Farm Shop of the Year at the Farm Retail Association Awards.

My wife and I find this farm shop really pleasent to be in, the staff are friendly and one chap, (don't know his name,) is a real gem at customer relations. Cafe is nice to and we have had a few breakfasts so can vouch for the quality. Thank you team, see you Wednesday for the bread. Delicious.

A typical farm with a small pick your own area with strawberries, raspberries, cherries, etc., you have to pay to pick your own but it's reasonable. A small cafe and farm shop selling local produce. There's also a small play area with swings and slide.

Can't get enough of this small but we'll stocked farm shop. Good sized car park. Has cafe on the side. Prices in farm shop are very reasonable and cheaper than other farm shops in the area selling the same produce. Often leave here with far more than I ever planned to buy! Looking forward to returning again.
