Lovely area for a walk. It is quite flat and it's easy walking with mostly gravel paths on the sea embankment. Which gives an elevated view of the marshes and the wild life. There's no charge to enter. Super views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Hurst Castle. It's popular with cyclists too with room for walkers and cyclists to pass each other on the gravel paths. Plenty of paths cross the reserve so it's easy to loop back along the lanes for a short or long circular route. All good 😎👍👍👍👍

One needs good footwear, plenty of time, and endurance, if the whole area is to be explored. This nature reserve is large with much of the footpaths on a sea wall. It is ideal for bird watching, so don't forget binoculars and/or a camera with a zoom lens.

Incredible bike ride, family bike ride along the coastal path, room about an hour with 2 kids in tow! Loved every second of it!

Lovely place to visit when the weather is nice! Visited during the Easter holidays and saw plenty of fauna and flora while walking along the pathway!

Lovely walk from harbour, through marina to nature reserve , relaxing and picturesque , views of isle of wight and surrounding area. Could have walked on further as the walk take u further along coastal area . Good for walkers, dog walkers, family's , friends , singles , groups, bird watchers , and people can cycle along route but have to consider walkers as they have priority of way
