Would give 6 stars if I could! First of all the staff is exceptional. They know their stuff, know their kitties, advocate for them, and keep the place running like a well oiled machine. We were lucky as we saw all the cats, which you can't expect all the time as they do as they please of course. Some were up for pets, some were playing, some were just lounging up above. An hour slot is more than enough to fill your dose of feline cuddles. Their merchandise and cafe is lovely too, I recommend the golden latte.

I loved their peach matcha tea latte with oat milk and their carrot cake (vegan). It was wondering that they had several vegan options for snacks and their menu was well labeled. I was surprised that they don’t have us sanitize our hands when we enter like other cat cafes do but they do have you either remove your shoes or wear shoe covers to enter. I could tell that their cats were well cared for and loved. It would be nice if they partnered with local rescues and offer cats at the cafe up for adoption to help promote cat rescue efforts rather than just have specialty breeds although I had never seen most of those breeds in person before. It was a great experience overall.

I love coming to visit Maison de Moggy. It is an unique experience down in Edinburgh's Grassmarket area. Booking in advance is highly recommended and your booking fee gets your entrance to the Cafe. The drinks and cakes are an additional extra which you can order when you have your table. The cats are very friendly and when we visited, some were quite playful and others were fast asleep. I mean they are cats, they do what they want and we just live in their world right? The staff are very friendly and will explain the rules clearly, they are very knowledgeable and will try and help you to interact with the cats if you are struggling to gain the cats attention or affection. An hour is the perfect amount of time to visit.

Cozy spot with well-cared-for cats! The staff is friendly, though the coffee is nothing special. The entry fee is a bit high, and it was a shame that the cats only hung around a few regulars during our visit, leaving others to just watch. I hope that money goes to a good cause, though!

This is a fun and quaint cafe. You are welcomed by friendly staff who introduce all of the cats. They spend time encouraging the cats to interact, take treats, and do tricks. The cafe is so clean and fresh. There is no smell of litter or cats which was super surprising. The entry price is very reasonable and the menu prices are as well. Would definitely recommend.
