Nothing to do with Mallard ducks or Pike fidh. Apparently Mr Mallar ran the Tufnpike tol road. But a quiet place and lovely to walk around, not too far for those with limited walking ability. Very quiet apart from the sounds of an ariel runway in the go ape ehich i think needs a little oil, (we didn't visit that), but away from the car park and tea rooms you cant hear it. Dog fridnfly and quite a few weee cooking fown in the lake

Absolutely beautiful place, free parking for members. There was a cafe, picnic tables and toilets to use. A few scenic walks into the forest too or a nice easy walk around the picturesque lake.

Lovely place for a walk in the forest and several different length walking routes available. Not the most picturesque walks but the paths are well maintained. Also has a lovely lake and cafe/toilets on site.

Great place to stop. We enjoyed an hour circular walk here with the dog, the weather was warm and the pond dog dip was welcomed! Pay for parking machines not working, had to use Ringo app, with limited signal, but it worked.

Great walks from here, lake is lovely. Colliers bike trail is here and there's 3,5 and 10k running routes. Car park is ticketless but around £6-£8 for the day depending. Cafe is reasonably priced and there's toilets here.
