Manor Heath Park is an award-winning 19-acre green space that offers families a diverse range of attractions and activities throughout the year. The park features a popular Jungle Experience (small entry fee), well-equipped children's play areas suitable for all abilities, and a seasonal water play area (May to October). Visitors can enjoy woodland walks, discover over 30 species of wildflowers and bulbs, and explore the beautiful sunken garden planted with seasonal bedding displays. The walled demonstration garden showcases diverse gardening styles and techniques, including the Queen Elizabeth II garden created for the platinum Jubilee, Mediterranean gardens, rock gardens, and herbaceous borders. The park also features an outdoor gym and plenty of picnic spots. Flutter Bites Café provides refreshments in a covered outdoor patio area, offering specialist coffees and home-cooked food while visitors enjoy the park's wildlife. Built on the site of a Victorian mansion from 1852 (home to famous carpet maker John Crossley), the park combines historical significance with modern family-friendly facilities. The Countryside team runs educational workshops for visitors of all ages. Dogs are welcome throughout the park (except in the fenced play area, except guide dogs), making it ideal for families with pets.

Lovely little park in Halifax 🌿 Popped in for a walk and was really impressed — the playground is great for kids and the tropical house is a nice surprise 🦜 Plenty of open space, good paths, and it feels well looked after. Proper peaceful spot for a quick break.

A lot of open space, but plenty of shade and areas for kids to play. The cafes a bit expensive though. It has a few picnic tables but it’s probably worth bringing a picnic blanket.

Still a nice place worth a visit. Not as good as it used to be 40 years ago but, most places in Britain have declined. But, effort is still given to trying to maintain this place. But *warning*, stupid dog owners let their dogs run loose so, be very aware of this, especially is you have children.

Limited parking at the entrance car park but plenty in the surrounding areas if needed. There is a few EV parking bays but they never seem to work. The park itself is really well kept and always has fantastic gardens that are great to look around. The butterfly greenhouse is worth a visit, it’s only £1 donation per person. The kids play park is quite modern and there’s parts of the park for all ages. They even have a work out station now

Amazing park lots of space and vast grassed area for kids to play as well as the park and other bits. Also holds the halifax gala every year which is another great day with rides an stalls and shows. A great place for picnic or to spend time on a nice day and has the butterfly tropical experience too
