Very informative. We liked the multi level layout and variety of exhibits. The young gentleman on the entrance was very polite.
Nice maritime museum charting Jerseys history. More interested in the WW2 elements though but there's enough to keep you occupied for a while. Some interactive items for kids too. Tapestry very good. Small gift shop and toilets on site.
I spent a lot of time here as a child- and I can say upon visiting again several years later, the experience is still absolutely amazing. If you want to go but find yourself put off by ticket prices, allow me to assure you it is absolutely worth it. The museum not only includes much information about the rich maritime history of Jersey, but also instillations by local artists and informative material about modern boat making practices (if you want a practical understanding of buoyancy this is the place to go!) This place is absolutely essential to understanding the history of Jersey- even if you have no interest in that, the calm atmosphere and beautiful presentation make the experience well worth the asking price.
Worth visiting if you have the Jersey Heritage Pass. The exhibition in the museum and the tapestry are all quite interesting, but I think the ticket price is still a bit high for what they are.
Definitely worth it if you are into maritime. Even if you are not into it, you will learn a lot about it. Worth a visit.
