Second time visiting here on our yearly visit to Warwick. Called on 27-06-26 for a coffee in a very pleasant cafe in the foyer of the museum. Although it is only a small museum it is full of very interesting facts about the life and times of the people of Warwick and the creatures that roamed the land up to 600million years ago.

Very interesting museum to visit. Free to enter but donations are welcome. 2 floors with an elevator. Coffee shop inside.

Nice place to visit on Saturday morning, the market happens there with fruits, breads , cakes , vegetables from farm and home made … historical place near to Warwick Castle .

What a little gem! Fascinating exhibits, from fossils to a live bee hive and lots in between. Particularly impressed with how child friendly and interactive it is, including rebuilding a broken vase and a charming animal puppet automaton thing. Free! Couldn't resist the little shop, somehow managed to resist the cakes in the coffee shop (they looked delicious). Why would you go to Costa Coffee if you had this right opposite? Loved it.

This is a treasure! Definitely go if you are in Warwick. It's not very large but it is very friendly. Especially go there if you have younger children. There are sensory bags and play areas. A lot to explore! What I was really amazed about was the bee hive on the top floor. It was super clever how it is made that bees can get in and out through the pipe and hole in the window. This place is free but please do purchase something in a cafe or gift part. Tote bags are only a pound but it helps the museum. There is a disabled toilet which has a sign - if you happen to have a little trouble as at the reception- we keep sanitary towels and nappies here for you! How nice is that?! I chanced and asked if they would have a phone charger by any chance as my battery was on 17% and I needed Google maps to get back to the hotel- 50 min walk. But no luck. At least they looked and tried to help! Really nice people!
