This place was absolutely brilliant to walk the dog. So many paths to choose from. There was grass paths as well as a gravel path and the scenery was beautiful also. Free car parking a bonus as so many other places charge

I visit several times a week riding the river and fen tracks on my bicycle Summer and winter, it changes daily. Different wildlife and birdlife. It's beautiful

Great place for an evening walk along the river with parking available directly opposite The Anchor and The Smugglers Inn on the Hullbridge side. The gate to the car park closes at 9.30pm!

Beatiful place for paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming etc or even just to park up and watch the world go by. Lots of swans and other birds if you wanted to take food to feed them.
