Went there on Monday for the holiday because there was a food festival there and it did not disappoint! The park is HUGE, tons of space for playing, relaxing, sunbathing or even having a picnic. Despite the heat, the greenery was so very vibrant!

Pleasant good sized park. Very well kept. Play areas, bandstand, lake and cafe and toilets. Popular with dog walkers. And good parking.

It’s a gorgeous park full of history. We did a treasure trail book for the park which helped us see parts we wouldn’t normally see. The activity centre has only ever been closed and I’ve been there. They have lots to do for children - lots of play areas, a water park section, gym equipment (for everyone). We had a picnic and it didn’t feel like we were in anyone’s way. Then we took a walk around the lake, where there are baby geese at the moment! Very cute! And the cafe and gardens are beautifully kept. Dog friendly and toilets onsite.

super nice and calm. lots to do for kids and a lovely cafe for drinks,food,coffee and ice cream in summer. reasonable pricing and kids menu too

A beautiful park. We got parking straight away, the staff we encountered were friendly, it was clean and tidy and there was an Easter pop up store by Mary Steven’s Hospice during our visit.
