Best place to see a wooden carved animal

A nice little wooded area in the middle of a housing development. Pedestrian access is available via Dolphin Crescent but be advised that there is no local parking. However a car park (free) is available a few minutes walk away behind the Straw hat public house. The woodland (meadow park) has some lovely wooden carvings dotted around, although some damage (fire) has been done to at least 2 of them. Well worth a visit if you're in that area.

The park is a wonderful dog friendly park and great to take young ones to find all the wonderful wood carved animals. It isn't pram friendly though as you have to do a bit of off roading to find some carved statues. Very clean and no signs of foul or mess from mother dog owners which is great.

Great little park. Well kept, nice mixture of open space, woodland and meadows. Some little sculptures to find & stories to go along with them.

Lovely park to walk through, quiet too. Nice to see the crane bird near the small pond occasionally .
