A peaceful enclosed toddler sanctuary on the Meadows' north side, away from crowds, with a Community Garden and Little Free Library adjacent.

This dedicated toddler playground provides a quieter, less overwhelming alternative to the bustling East Meadows Playpark nearby. The fenced enclosure keeps small children safely separated from dogs, frisbee players, and general foot traffic—ideal for toddlers who become stressed in busy environments. Equipment includes toddler swings, carousel, and two play units with climbing nets and slides, with ample grassed space for safe running and picnicking. Located on the Meadows' north side between the Community Garden and tennis court, it benefits from proximity to the Uplands Roads coffee van (2-3 minutes) and public toilets (5 minutes). The adjacent Community Garden features a charming Little Free Library for book swaps.

This large, modern, and hugely popular play area is situated on the south end of Bruntsfield Links, the historic parkland that merges seamlessly with The Meadows. It’s a cornerstone of family life in central Edinburgh and a must-visit for anyone visiting the city with young children. The Meadows Play Park at Bruntsfield Links is a first-class, free civic amenity. It succeeds brilliantly in its core purpose: providing a safe, exciting, and inclusive space for children to play and socialize in the heart of the city. For any family in Edinburgh, it's not just a play park—it's a key part of the community fabric and a guaranteed hit with children.

Meadow Play Park is a wonderful place for families! The park is safe for children, with well-maintained play equipment and plenty of open space for kids to run around. The grounds are always clean and beautifully kept, making it a pleasant spot for a day out. Highly recommended for a fun and relaxing time with the little ones!

Playground for kids has an area for the smallest ones: a slide, swings, small ship and area for the older ones with climbing facilities, small tunnel, ropes and bigger slide and swings. Nothing too special although most of that you need you can find here. Size of playground is not too big, just average size. It's nice to spend time here with children.
