A fantastic park running alongside Regents Canal. Only a short walk away from other connected green spaces like Victoria Park & Mile End Park.

Meath Gardens is a fantastic, underrated green space in Bethnal Green. Because it’s tucked away near the Regent's Canal and slightly overshadowed by the massive Victoria Park nearby, it rarely feels overcrowded and has a wonderful, peaceful community vibe…. Easy to forget there is 175,000 kids in paupers graves under your feet.

A very beautiful park surrounded by tall buildings. It has everything: outdoor gym, children playground, picnic tables, football pitch surrounded by fence. I found the park very clean and very green with many people having a good time. They even planted trees to remembre those that worked front line during Covid.

Absolutely beautiful place for everyone to enjoy . Well kept green and play area . Well away from the road . Only problem is there are no public toilets .

Former Victoria Park Cemetery. A wonderful little jewel in East London filled with layers of history, amazing people and fascinating wildlife. Please check Friends of Meath Gardens website and FB page for volunteering opportunities.
