We recently visited Medieval Mayhem with our 18-month-old daughter and used the under 2’s area. Unfortunately, it was almost unusable for younger children as it was full of older children around 4–6 years old. They were jumping aggressively into the ball pool and running around the equipment, and at one point my daughter was hit whilst playing. I completely understand that children play excitedly and have fun, and I don’t blame the children themselves. However, there was very little monitoring from either parents or staff, which made the area feel unsafe for toddlers and babies. There was also another family there with a much younger baby who felt the same. Because of this, me and my daughter ended up leaving far sooner than we had planned, which was disappointing as we were looking forward to spending more time there. The facilities themselves are great, but I think the under 2’s area needs to be monitored more closely or enforced properly so that younger children can use it safely as intended

Fantastic birthday party venue. Food was excellent and generous portions. Morgan was really helpful and took care of everything. Really well organised and clean. Kids had a great time. Play centre is brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

We booked a party a month ago and even though they were busy that day they made alterations and arrangements to accommodate us. It was easy to book online with the £25 deposit. Lots of extras available. Such as mascots. Once we arrived Morgan greeted us in the party room which was already nicely prepared. Morgan introduced herself as being as our assistance should we need her and explained how the party will be organised. Morgan then offered me (a flustered mum of three) a coffee (heaven) she brought it to me and I felt very relaxed and at ease that Morgan was there to collect the kids and make sure things ran smoothly, Morgan had a great attitude and was eager to please and to help me with anything I needed. Very friendly very approachable but also knew when we were happy and left us to it. Happy mum, happy kids. So thanks to Morgan and the rest of the team for a seamless party. Exactly what this busy mum was after by booking at medieval. Food was hot and there was plenty of it. Lots of drinks for the kids and the party room was clean and fresh and set up prior to our arrival.

Went there with Granddaughter & her Mum. Because it was mid week, it was great, as there wasn't a lot of people there. Granddaughter loves it and it's a great way for her to let off steam and to say hello to other kids. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time at the kids Christmas party. Staff are so friendly and helpful, and the big characters (Elf and Grinch) along with the party leader made it a very special visit. Everything is clean and well maintained. Kids love the slides and equipment. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and well prepared. Think this is our favourite soft play! (On site parking is a big bonus too!)
