Lovely place to walk especially with the woods behind

Went to watch the team my grandson plays for play a 9 a side friendly football match, as a practi e before the season starts. It was a very uneven pitch. It was a difficult match because of this, and the initial light rain. At half-time the score was 9-1 to our side. After half time the rain became heavier. The final score was 12-2 to our side. Both teams played well, I understand that the home team was a 'scratch' because several players were on holiday. I cannot comment on facilities as I did not use them. There was limited parking on site. We parked on the roadside. The sat nav tried to send us down Danes Lane! Perhaps this needs looking at.

Great park. Good play facilities for young children as well as older. Basketball hoop and astro pitch. Toilet available. Backs onto a wood for walking as well

First time we had been to the playing fields. Just got a new puppy and wanted to go somewhere without to many distractions. Nice big area to walk your dog, shame some people think it's ok to let their dog poo on the grass and just leave it, " come on" it gives us all a bad name😒. There is also a kids play area and picnic tables,but no toilets , which is a shame as our daughter wanted the loo after half an hour so we had to leave a bit quicker than expected.

Great place to walk dogs or have a picnic. Great play area with things for children to do and a nice wooded area for nature walks. Car parking is available with space for about 15 to 20 cars if parked sensibly. Monthly carboot sale in aid of charity.
