Had a great day, the sun was shining the animals were sleepy but so happy. We got to stroke and feed some too wich was great fun. The staff were really nice and informative and took the time to answer any questions. A must go to place.

Great little zoo, staff knowledgeable, saw all of the animals. We visited on a Tuesday very few people there. Could buy food to feed the emus and the pigs, and food for the otters. Keeps brought out a couple of the animals and talked about them. Most of the animals were rescues, that had been bought as pets that people could no longer cope with. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited to have a break from a long drive and had an amazing couple of hours, staff were very friendly and informative. It's a very small zoo but also more like a rescue, we were told about some of the horrible conditions certain animals were kept in before being at the zoo, it's heartbreaking to hear about but amazing to see they're in a better place with people that care about their welfare now. The keepers seem to have strong bonds with the animals we seen them with. I would definitely visit again if ever in the area or passing.

On arrival we found the entrance price quite high for the size or the zoo and range of animals. However on reflection totally worth it and we've had a wonderful afternoon despite it being a very cold and wet February afternoon. The animals are all very interested in visitors and well looked after and the cafe and shop are great and very reasonably priced (hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows 3.50 and gloves from 1.50). But what stands this place apart by a mile is the staff, in particular Carol (possibly head keeper?) Took our girls around her feeding route introducing them to all the animals, letting them interact with some and her knowledge of both every species and the individual animals and their quirks and personalities was exceptional- treating them like much loved family pets not her job - Thank you ❤️

Great little zoo. All staff are friendly and super knowledgeable about the animals they keep, you can tell they really care. I did a lemur experience and loved every minute of it. The staff were great in regard to my disabilities and found it mostly accessible in my wheelchair. A great way to pass a couple of hours and the animal experiences are priced very fairy. Can’t wait to do another.
