Booked the alpaca walking experience yesterday and did not know what to expect.. I can say I absolutely loved this and will be returning with my family to enjoy this again and many other experiences. Alcatraz was definitely a character and the farmers couldn’t be more hospitable and friendly. Overall a really enjoyable experience and only 30 mins away from home which is a bonus. Plus all the cute photos I know get to look back on 🥰

Had a great time walking the goats and meeting the bunnies at Middle England Farm this afternoon. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, she had a clear passion for her work and a genuine connection to the animals which was lovely to see. As you can see from my photos, it’s a working farm, so if you’re planning on visiting, expect it to be muddy. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy as the goats love to jump up to say hello and snatch your feed. There is a small shop which is cash only.

I had such a wonderful time visiting this farm! We came for the alpaca walk with a meet and greet around the farm first and I enjoyed every minute of it. The animals are so lovely and the alpacas will eat out of your hand. It was such a therapeutic experience. Definitely read the instructions they send you carefully, we had no problem at all finding the location or preparing for the walk because the email was so thorough. I would recommend rationing your food when meeting the other animals as you want some left over for your alpaca friend on the walk - however if you do get tempted into using it up (the goats are very persuasive) it's no problem as the staff are happy for you to buy more. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of our lovely guide but she was fantastic, and happy to answer all of our questions! It's very obvious that the animals are so well-cared for and have a great time meeting visitors :) We will definitely be coming back! 💕💕🦙🐖🐐🐑🐇🦃
