Attended the summer 'Play with Clay' sessions. We thought there would be someone leading the session but, although it was self-led, it was a great activity to do with my little one. The cafe was great - my son enjoyed eating one of the huge scones sat by the canal. Lovely shops to explore as well. A lovely couple of hours spent here

Lovely place to visit. Cafe was full inside but the sun was out so we sat outside. Had a mooch around the place and bought a few items.

Booked and aitbnb locally and didnt even know about this place. Googled it to find its a rare find. And I wqs sold when I read that peaky blinders was filmed here 😍. Stunning views of our manufacturing history. Such a shame that half of it has been left to ruin.

Excellent heritage pottery experience! Not only historic museum and Burleigh collection, but cafe, sales shop, factory tour and various artesian workshops and galleries with unusual and unique pieces. Very friendly and helpful staff on hand-well worth a visit, or ‘re-visit’!! Thank you 👍

I visited with my husband on a Saturday, and we had a lovely time. The entrance is free, and the whole place has such a peaceful and charming atmosphere. We really enjoyed having tea, coffee, cookies, and cake at the riverside café – it was so relaxing. The museum is informative and well-preserved, and the little shops with handmade pottery were a joy to explore. I’m also looking forward to the river trips starting in June! A perfect spot for a cultural yet relaxing day out. Highly recommended!
