Really enjoyed my visit here, seeing the vulcan and getting a tour of the cockpit was amazing. Really friendly and helpful staff, so much to see here. So many models and great aircraft to see, plenty of information and a nice cafe for a brew and food after. Shop is great too for a souvenir. Thanks Midland air museum, really enjoyed it 😀

A very good museum to walk around especially if interested in aeroplanes. So much to see. Small cafe but good menu. And a good shop also large rocky carpark. Price for adults £11

Lovely little Air Museum with a good range of historic aircraft, exhibits and models. The star of the show is the Vulcan Bomber which is open to visitors to climb into its cockpit area and get an informative talk from one of the brilliant staff on the plane, its instrumentation and history. (Thanks Ivor). They have a lovely little cafe to get refreshments and a great shop with a large range of model construction kits (Airfix / Revell etc.) to purchase.

An excellent experience. It's both a small, local museum and yet also a professional and accredited museum - a rare combination. There's a lot about Frank Whittle and the development of the jet engine. You can sit in a jet fighter cockpit. There's plenty of indoor exhibits, both aircraft and components such as tyres and braking. There's also lots of excellent models, they've worked hard with local modellers to provide a fuller picture. Outdoors there's even more aircraft, and an opportunity to climb into a Vulcan - surely the highlight for many! There's also a nice café, a well stocked gift shop, and volunteers on hand to help. Highly recommend!

A fantastic museum of aviation containing the biggest airplanes including a Vulcan, a Vanquish and Valiant. The site is across several hangers and there are also outside exhibits. Excellent exhibits showing how aviation has progressed and gives a stark reminder about war. There is a shop and cafe at the start. You pay for parking as the musuem is free but recommend a donation as it’s totally run by volunteers. Leave several hours to go round as there is so much to see. We will need to return as we did not see everything.
