The park features a beautiful boating lake where visitors can hire boats (including accessible options) during weekends and school holidays from April to October, or sail model boats year-round. Families will find extensive play and sports facilities throughout the park, including a dedicated playground, water splash play pond, zip line, climbing wall, and multi-games area with basketball and mini football. The park also offers outdoor gym equipment, a bike track, tennis courts, bowling green, and a skate park for older children and teens. Very good spot for families with kids offering space for activities. BBQ is also possible. Can be sometimes busy and may need a fence to the wayerways for kids safety.

Lovely park on the river Sheaf next to Abbeydale and Hutcliffe woods. Has a wide range of facilities including basketball and tennis courts, boating lake, cafe, childrens play area, skatepark and more.

What a disappointment to see parts still broken after so many months. It's 25° today and water pipes are broken. If I knew that, I would choose a different park to go to.

This is such a great park; a real asset for the local community! Set alongside the busy and noisy Abbeydale Road it seems to go on forever; so many facilities in one place and once you are in the park it’s wonderfully peaceful. When I visited just a couple of days ago it was very popular: joggers, cyclists, young families, dog walkers all using the paths plus fields, courts and even a boating lake. There’s ample parking plus toilet facilities and a great cafe.

This park is perfect for everyone. Here you have a playground for children, a place where you can buy breakfast, ice cream, drinks, toilets, tennis courts, basketball courts, football, bowling and table tennis. Tables with benches where you can have a picnic, a lake with boats, the Sheaf River, a small flower garden. It is the most diverse park. It is a great place.
