I don't know the area and was visiting with my dog. I just headed to the green space with the dog and found this. We didn't drive there so I've no idea about parking. It was a lovely place to be with blackberries in abundance, a fig tree which seemed to have been picked empty, and lots of friendly dog walkers. My dog enjoyed the water and the freedom to roam.

Did not experience the whole area, it was lovely but the cyclists destroyed my experience by almost running us off the walk way and aggressive. Will go back again maybe my experience will be better.

Absolutely beautiful view of the river! Peaceful and serene. Surrounded by fields with give an extra countryside walk. There's a restaurant and bar close by, so refreshments are at hand.
