Lovely experience to enjoy time grooming and walking the donkeys. Set in a beautiful location with excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff the day was enjoyed by people of all different ages. Well worth a visit.

A very enjoyable experience ! I had gift vouchers from my partner as a Christmas present, and used them to take my daughter and grandson, James, for the ‘short walk experience’ as part of his 5th birthday celebrations. He loved every minute of it! It was lovely to meet and pet the donkeys, and walk them through the fields. Some fantastic views of the beautiful countryside too! James loves animals and he enjoyed meeting the sheep and baby goats along the way. Matthew, the owner, and the young female guide, were great with James, keeping him interested and entertained throughout. Matthew told us all about the donkeys, the history of Moel Famau Donkeys, and plans for the future, and we wish him all the best with new developments. This is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours, and suitable for donkey lovers of all ages

A lovely experience. The donkeys are gorgeous and really well cared for. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for a walk. Everyone was really nice and friendly -the staff are great, really helpful and knowledgable and the activity was well organised. It was a relaxing and enjoyable thing to do. Would recommend! Nicola

We visited the donkey experience yesterday with our youngest daughter Nancie.. she loved it from start to finish.. and the added highlight for her was the donkey being called Nansi too. You started by grooming the donkeys with brushes and getting to know them before heading off for a trail.. was lovely scenery and the staff were both super lovely and friendly with the group. We will definetly be going back it was a lovely morning out.

This was a fabulous treat from my friends. The whole experience was fun, and the donkeys were lovely. Lorraine and Carys were lovely and very friendly. We groomed the donkeys and walked them, including doing an agility course ! We also met and petted the biggest and most friendliest sheep ever. It was smiles all around from everyone. I can say wholeheartedly you won't be disappointed. It was all adults on our booking. I can imagine kiddies excitement doing this.
