These are very pleasant gardens. They are very well maintained and we saw no litter on our visit. Thankfully, we saw no dog fouling either, unlike in many other parks. There is also a sensory garden only a few minutes walk from the car park. The paths are suitable for all mobility levels because it is possible to circumnavigate the park using tarmac paths only. There is a good childrens' playpark close to the car park too. Car parking is free. From certain spots there are very nice views out across the rolling countryside There's also a football pitch and basketball court within the park. In my opinion. It is certainly one of the nicest parks in Northern Ireland.

Moira is a stunning park, especially in spring when it's blanketed with wild garlic, daffodils, and vibrant seasonal flowers. Overlooking the picturesque Belfast mountains, it offers a scenic and refreshing spot for a daily walk or to get your steps in. The park is dog-friendly and features a children's play area, making it perfect for families. Plus, there's a coffee truck serving delicious tray bakes—an ideal treat after a stroll.

The park have free parking spaces available on both main entrance and entrance going to the library, toilets and play area for kids. There is also a tarmac path for those who wish to go for a walk, walk with their pet dog or jog. Theres also few picnic bench but its only near the Moira road entrance. Theres is also a small coffee hut with seating area.

A lovely open park with short walking trails that are looped. A beautiful wildflower garden, mature trees, and hedgerows that attract various insects can be found here. A shallow pond that is fenced off is home to some newts. There are wooden sculptures of animals and insects dotted around the park. There is a childrens park, a good sized car park and toilet facilities. A good place to take dogs for a walk too.
